Some fabric restrictions will apply. See individual fabrics for further details.
Blinds over 2400 width are considered oversized and may have slight wavering to the fabric along the pockets. This is considered normal for sewn pocket blinds and not considered a manufacturing fault. To avoid this we recommend ordering multiple smaller blinds.
Restriction on Mounting – Face or Architrave Mount only
We do not recommend Roman Blinds to go into a recess mount (inside the frame) and only to be mounted as a face fit or architrave fit. There are many reasons for this and we make sure to comply with the Australian Soft Furnishing industry guidelines for Roman Blind manufacturing.
Any Roman blinds purchased with the intention of a recess mount will not be covered by our 5 year warranty.
The three main reasons are as follows;
- Roman Blind fabric is known to take time to settle and will eventually make the blind too long for the inside mount. It is impossible to judge the allowance as the variable to the cloth, size and weight of the blind will differ. Achieving the desired 5mm gap at the base of the blind cannot be obtained.
- The cording is behind the blind and to operate you must push the canvas aside to get to them. This will result in damaging the fabric by being crushed and soiled. Operating the blind will eventually burn through the blockout coating due to having to drag the cords diagonally across the rear of the fabric to raise and lower the blind.
- It is rare for a window to be perfectly square and often is out by a few mm’s. This will give the appearance of the blind being crooked and the gap down the side of the blind will aggregate from a few mm’s at the top to a considerable gap to the bottom edge.

Batten Spaces and Lining up Blinds
Batten spaces are determined by the drop measurement of the blind and different drops will have different panel sizes.
If you have different drops in the same room and would like to have the same panel sizes so the blinds line up visually, you are able to select this option in the Design & Order area. We will then alter the base panels to suit.
Be aware that this may cause risk of fading, due to a smaller batten space becoming necessary at the base panel of the blind.
Fabrics
Select from our large range of Light Filtering & Blockout Fabrics.
We only use Mildew Protected cloths. Please see individual fabrics for composition details.
Cleaning
General dusting or vacuuming is suitable and should be done regularly.
For spot cleaning, wash with warm soapy water.
Do Not Scrub as you may damage the coating of the fabric.
Make sure to rinse clean with water.
Allow the blind to completely dry before operating.
We also recommend Chux magic erasers for spot cleaning.
