Tilt Wand -
For a traditional look the tilt wand is added to open and close the louvres, by simply moving the wand up or down.  If you wish to have  a concealed wand, select a Contemporary Style,  which has a concealed operating mechanism at the rear of the shutter, this allows the shutter to be operated by hand by simply moving one louvre, to open or close.  For further information click here.

Centre Dividing Rail - Selecting a dividing rail has two distinct advantages:
1. It allows the Shutter to have more control on light and privacy, as the two halves operate independently to each other . Ideal for bathrooms, as you can close the lower section for privacy, and angle the upper section for light control.
2. Hides the horizontal mullion on a window frame.  You can customise the divider rail height to hide the mullion, which will then give you a less cluttered look on your window.  Click Here for full details.
All shutters with a drop exceeding 1800mm, require a dividing rail for added stability.

Please make sure to read our How to Measure instructions, for full details on the measuring points for a customised dividing rail.

Centre Dividing Rail

All PVC Shutters over 1500 must have one dividing rail.

All PVC Shutters over 2100, must have two dividing rails (this is due to the weight of the blind)
