Originally produced in 1896 for Compton Hall, the house of Laurence W. Hodson, near Wolverhampton, the William Morris Compton Amber design is full of history. It was once believed to be Morris’ last design; however, it is now recognised as the work of John Henry Dearle.
Part of our collaboration with the V&A, this design really is a standout. With an enchanting collection of flowers and leaves paired with a contemporary colour scheme, this design is an all-round beauty.
